Vincent Patricola, formerly known as DJ Shortround Detroit, founded Detroit Electronic Quarterly Music Magazine (www.detroiteq.com) and  has been a DJ, promoter,record store manager, and avid vinyl collector since 1995.

Around the city, Vince is known as a DJs DJ, sharing the stage with Detroit's best. He spends his days managing the super community space/club Spotl Lite Detroit (3 years) with strong emphasis on the record store within. He was the assistant manager at the world renowned Record Time (Ferndale) from 2002-08 and also worked at 3 year stint  (2008-11) at Dope Jams in Brooklyn, NYC.

At night he spins eclectic vinyl DJ sets that move and groove a crowd with a variety of soulful styles.  House, techno and electro to classic R&B, disco, boogie, jazz, soul world and classic hip hop originals represented with a heavy dose of local Detroit music in each bag.

Currently, he has multiple weekly DJ residencies: Tuesdays @spkrbox,.detroit (house, techno, electro, italo, retro), Thursdays @spotllite detroit with Jesse Cory (house, classic r&b), and Sunday B Side Brunch @cibo.detroit inside the gorgeous Cambria hotel.
